Durston Wapta 30 - is the ultimate frameless backpack for ultralight hikers. It weighs just 365 g while offering exceptional functionality, durability, and comfort. Featuring innovative design elements, like a bottom pocket with pleats instead of stretch mesh for added durability, and a spacious front pocket.

The latest version now features improved seam taping, a new Small size option, a removable top strap, updated hardware, and re-shaped side pockets for easier access and better usability.

Despite its superlight design, the Wapta 30 doesn't compromise on features. It includes hipbelt pockets, side water bottle pockets with adjustable tension, and dual shoulder strap pockets for easy access to essentials. The pack's side compression and top strap are simplified for quick adjustments and customizable storage options.

Comfort is a priority with the Wapta 30, featuring shoulder straps with an S-shape and differential cut for a better fit, and a padded hipbelt that can be removed for lighter trips. Even ventilation is top-notch, with dual air mesh strips heat bonded onto the back panel.

Durston Wapta 30 is the first ultralight pack crafted with ALUULA fabrics. ALUULA's innovative process seamlessly combines a durable waterproof film with tough UHMWPE fibers, resulting in ALUULA Graflyte™, a composite pack fabric that's both lightweight and exceptionally durable. Weighing just 98 g/m² (2.9 oz/yd), it offers superior tear strength and abrasion resistance compared to similar fabrics.

ALUULA Graflyte™ boasts additional benefits such as long-term waterproofness without glue, stain resistance, UV protection, recyclability, low water absorption, edge stability, and heat bondability. Leveraging these qualities, the Wapta 30 is designed to be lighter, simpler, and more functional. Features include heat-welded airmesh strips for ventilation, laser-cut drain holes in pockets, and ALUULA Durlyte™ daisy chains for added durability.

ALUULA Graflyte™	The only composite fabric with 100% UHMWPE fibers (known by the brand name Dyneema®) for the face fabric. This pack fabric gives greater durability for the weight than all others, while also having a tougher interior waterproof film and enabling advanced construction with heat bonding and laser cutting.
Waterproof	The Wapta is waterproof for hiking with waterproof ALUULA fabric along with seam taping and heat bonded for the main compartment seams.

Simple V Top Strap	V shaped top strap provides greater security for storing items on top like a tent or sleeping pad, and adjusts more easily than other V top straps with a single motion.
