Pa’lante V2 pack - is a lightweight and minimalist backpack designed for thru-hiking and lightweight backpacking. It’s perfect for experienced hikers with dialed-in gear, offering simplicity, durability, and functionality. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it is highly regarded among ultralight backpacking enthusiasts.

The Pa’lante V2 pack features a streamlined design, omitting unnecessary features and excess weight. It is constructed from high quality materials like 210D UHMWPE (Dyneema) Gridstop or 200D UltraWeave™ material from Challenge Sailcloth, known for their strength, water resistance, and lightness. These materials ensure durability while keeping the pack’s weight to a minimum, making it suitable for rugged terrains and adverse weather conditions.

With an internal capacity of either 31 liters (16″ version) or 37 liters (19″ version), the pack is ideal for overnight trips or shorter multi-day adventures. Its single main compartment lacks internal dividers or pockets, allowing for flexible packing and easy gear access. The pack’s simple design and high-tech materials make it extremely lightweight: 510/530 grams for the Gridstop version and 485/499 grams for the UltraWeave™ version. The main compartment utilizes a roll-top closure system for added flexibility, and adjustable side compression straps stabilize the load and secure long items in side pockets.

Designed with comfort in mind, the Pa’lante V2 pack features adjustable padded shoulder straps for a personalized and secure fit. The shoulder straps also have integrated cinchable shoulder pockets to hold bottles, a phone, or snacks. The pack includes a stashable hip belt and vertically adjustable sternum strap.

Thoughtful design elements enhance the pack’s convenience on the trail. Two compressible side pockets accommodate water bottles, and a small tent stakes pocket is integrated into the front stretchable mesh pocket. Additionally, a stretchy bottom pocket with two openings holds daily food rations and trash. Stashable ice axe carrying loop is also included.

While known for its minimalist design, the Pa’lante V2 pack prioritizes durability. It employs reinforced stitching, bar tacks, and high-quality hardware to enhance overall strength and longevity. For example, the top compression strap utilizes an aluminum G-hook to handle challenging terrain and prolong the pack’s durability.
