At Outdoorline, we carry the latest version of ULA backpacks, so it is compatible with all Circuit backpacks in our assortment.

Backpack Strap Kits instantly add the capacity to strap larger items (tent, food storage, or sleeping pads) to the top or bottom of your pack as your gear needs change. All ULA packs now come standard with the low-profile loops necessary to add a removable top Y-strap and dual bottom straps. Sturdy plastic clips slip securely into the webbing loops built into your pack, giving you an instant and ultra-light external pack storage solution.

If you carry gear (sleeping pad/tent) strapped to the bottom of your pack, grab a set of removable bottom straps – two straps that run under the bottom panel from front to back.

Grab a Y-strap Kit if you carry gear (sleeping pad/tent/bear canister) strapped to the top of your pack. Y-straps run over the top of your pack using the existing front buckle and y-ing into two straps that clip into the loops at the back.

Grab both and have the freedom to customize your pack to your gear and trip needs!

What's the difference between standard Top-Strap and Top Y-Strap?

Standard Top-Strap

These are meant to act as compression straps and can handle lightweight items but are not meant for bulkier items like bear canisters. This is handy when the pack isn't fully loaded or you've got lightweight items like bags of chips or rain gear that you want quicker access to.

Top Y-Strap

The Y-strap is designed for carrying bulkier items, such as bear canisters. It provides a reliable and efficient way to secure heavier loads at the top of the pack, like multiple water bladders or a bear canister. This setup is especially useful in environments where extra water capacity is needed, such as desert areas, or in regions where bear canisters are required.
